Gérald De Palmas
What can be said about Gérald De Palmas is that he's not too prolific. His first album came out in 1994 (La dernière année), his 2nd in 1997 (Les lois de la nature), his 3rd in 2000 (Marcher dans le sable, that's the one I would recommend), his 4th in 2004 (Un homme sans racines) and his 5th in 2009 (Sortir).
He was in a somewhat famous band before going solo called "Les Max Valentin" under his real name, Gérald Gardrinier. Etienne Daho took them under his wings for a while until they vanished into thin air.
