Following my morning café and tartine, I partake of a leisurely stroll along pastoral lanes. Eyeing the iris buds bursting and the cherry tree’s proud display of blossoms, I am inspired to fashion something for the garden; something simple with a touch of elegance from times past. Utilizing terra cotta as the base, iridescent clay tiles are skillfully applied surrounding a fashioned cherry blossom medallion. Voila! A classic treasure that transports you to another romantic era.
